Moving Muscle operates the Muscle Plus app, a gig worker platform that connects independent movers with available jobs. If you are a gig worker on the Muscle Plus platform, the following applies to you:
Opt-In and Consent
When you create an account on the Muscle Plus app, you are presented with a separate SMS Notifications consent checkbox on our Consent & Preferences screen. Checking this box is voluntary and is not required to create an account or access the platform. By checking the SMS Notifications box, you expressly consent to receive text messages from Moving Muscle at the mobile number associated with your account.
Types of Messages
As a Muscle Plus gig worker, you may receive text messages including:
- New job availability alerts in your service area
- Updates and changes to jobs you have accepted
- Schedule reminders and confirmations
- Important operational notices related to your work on the platform
Frequency, Rates, and Opt-Out
Message frequency varies based on job availability and your activity on the platform. Standard message and data rates may apply.
You can opt out of SMS notifications at any time by:
- Texting "STOP" to any message you receive from us
- Updating your notification preferences in the Muscle Plus app

Opting out of SMS notifications does not affect your Muscle Plus account or your ability to view and accept jobs in the app.

Your opt-in data and consent records are stored securely and used solely for the purpose of delivering the notifications described above.
